Hulu needed a creative strategy for engaging its follower base on Twitter and attracting new followers passionate about TV and entertainment.
I helped craft a brand voice and social strategy that prioritized a human-first, streaming-giant-second approach. In lieu of literally advertising what Hulu’s streaming library consisted of, which risked alienating users who were looking for content (not ads), we took on the personality of a true TV stan. The aim was to have the brand appear as a fan account more focused on obsessing than selling.
